Inspirational and transcending, Positive Content has well and truly arrived.
Nottingham born and bred, spoken-word lyricist Jack Tucker is an authentic presence wired by passion and balance. Inspirational and transcending, Positive Content has well and truly arrived.
Following a move to Mansfield aged just 11, he was exposed to the worlds of rap and grime when roaming the streets taking early heavy influence from such respected artists as Skepta and Giggs, crediting their collaborative efforts on ‘Look Out’ as his personal favourite piece.
A translation of the evolution from the unconscious to the conscious, Positive Content’s musical style has developed considerably through the years. A nod to the awakening of his third eye, his lyrical context has navigated away from what was once ego-related, to now purely deriving from the soul.
Drawing influence from the genuine narrative of his absent father, a journey which provided him with several internal and mental hurdles along the way has been placed into perspective through positivity resulting in complete elevation and empowerment within his raw, signature sound. One which such intricate flow and rhythm originates from inspirational poetry from his Nana in his youth.
First meeting his father in early 2018, this long road of self-discovery was the catalyst for his current path. A story reflective of forgiveness and the truth, Positive Content’s first song, ‘Breathe’, was born. Following healing performances at Moetry in London and The Church in Leeds, he has since teamed up with his brother and talented acoustic singer, Cal Sy, on two collaborative singles, ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘Talking To Myself’.
In addition to this, he has also released ‘BE’, a salute to his time in Ibiza and the beginning of his newest chapter, as well ‘Fatherhood Freestyle’, a celebration to the birth of his beautiful daughter, Anaiya.
